Problem is it's looking likely any of this will happen at the 11th hour leaving very little time
wouldn’t let any of them go now because it’s too close to the end of the transfer window. Plus we keep getting told we don’t need to sell.

That was in 1955, finished third in the old second division.

Was that the year we missed promotion to the first division on goal average as it was then. Two years before I started watching.

I didn’t mean season. I meant period. Promotions, cup wins, unbeaten records and Wembley trips.
    We’ve been spoilt.

I'm not too sure what the club can do to keep them.To sell now would hugely increase our chances of going down and any new contract deals offered would not be signed. This is where Rob Scott and his team earn their salaries.......by lining up replacements for next summer and if they are as equally successful then we will be talking about those in the same manner in 3 years time.

It’s definitely the best period in our history, not just from a playing point of view but, the ground, the manager the chairman, community, it can’t get much better for a team of our stature, you only have to look round and see Doncaster, Grimsby, Chesterfield, Notts County and Bradford Park Avenue, and City to realise what we have going on !

We just need two more players ? which players ? or outside investment ! what a bit like the Glaciers taking millions out of the club in dividends each season, you have to be careful what you wish for !

It's a great time to support Rotherham United, but that doesn't stop the same old posters trotting out the same old tripe in which they explain how the club should be run, when they frankly haven't got a clue. And the sad thing is that most of the individuals concerned have never run anything more complicated than a bath.

Ever thought that it’s not all about money, and that the players mentioned might actually want to win something in their careers? Chio is a full international and will leave, rightly so, for bigger and better things. We will find replacements, and the cycle will start all over again. C’est la vie.

We need to approach this the other way round. Draw attention to how well (or not) players have done recently when they leave us for move money and bigger clubs. These clubs need to understand that Dan and Chieo only LOOK decent at Rotherham, and they're probably not worth signing! That way, we get to keep them on the same money.
