I wish him all the best but hope that his is not the only front line addition before the Thursday deadline.

Not too enthused by this. I wasn’t particularly impressed with his brief spell with us pre-Covid and by the sounds of things he’s barely kicked a ball since then.
Apart from that it’s yet another jobber who can “play across the front three”.
Stated on here weeks ago that we had to make signing there and then, others suggested we should wait to see what players haven’t been resigned and have become free agents. Yet again we have signed a player who has had hardly any game time recently and is obviously not match fit. There has to have been better options out there who could have offered us something different.
Looking at his record and comments on Twitter about him he appears to be very injury prone which is exactly what we don’t need right now. He also has no track record in scoring goals and from memory his final ball and delivery aren’t up to much.
If this is the extent of our transfer business between now and Thursday then we are in trouble.
Well he's a winger not a striker afaik so I don't think the anywhere across the front three concern is valid. If he's not better out on the flank than Shields/Efford he's got problems... fitness a big concern though but we supposedly had him in training last week so Hammell would appear satisfied.
We can put as many crosses into the opposition box, but if you don’t have players on the endof the crosses you ain’t going to score goals. We need a forward who plays only in the width of the opponents goal area. To many crosses come in and KVV and others are either out wide or standing/loitering at the eigh**** yard line. Please Stevie Hammell make sure our next signing is an out and out centre forward who is fully match fit
Have to ask ... why another winger when have McKinstry and Mahon ? Accept untried but desperate times call for desperate measures. Shields is never a winger and IMO should play thru the middle. I have no opinion on Efford
When we've played three strung across the front recently we've struggled - one true winger offering width and a guy on the other side nominally out there but coming in to help KVV is probably the way to go, whatever personnel we settle on.
IMO he's already had his opportunity and he didn't impress enough to be given another opportunity.
Agree with the consensus here --- whoever is making these decisions needs to step back.
I'd rather the club not spend the cash to bring in someone that won't make any impact or improve the team.
