I see this young lady has won Sports Personality Of The Year. I hope I'm wrong but the way things have shaped up so far since the remarkable win in September, the SPOTY and a US Open trophy could be the only major ones in her cabinet.

I don't follow it that closely but she has struggled to even win a match since the US Open (and might not have actually won one but I could be wrong) and has changed her coach twice. It could be that the 2021 US open was simply the right place, right time for her and from here on could be a mighty struggle. However, knowing my prowess in sporting predictions she'll probably go on and surpass Serena Williams

Disappointing defence of her title albeit against a dangerous opponent. It's been a tough year for her.
