    So once we have removed the manager we will be seeing better performances. The players that have come in and are being paid more than the wage structure are certainly making their presence felt. I wouldn't bother hiring another manager, some egos at the club seem to think they are in charge. If it is found that they are to blame I'd ask them to relocate to Dundee or seek pastures new.

    There has been a lot of blame for the players among the fans. They are the ones on the pitch making us suffer but, ultimately, it's the head coach's responsibility if we get a scudding like Sunday. Mostly the same players have performed for us last season so if he couldn't get that (and it's not even remotely close to that) out of them then he has to go.

    I'm normally the first one to say a new head coach needs time but results have been so bad his position was utterly untenable.
