Let's have a bit of noise before midnight then.

Tielemans starting for Leicester, so we can put that one away. Same goes with Maddison and Barnes.

I think if we get anything it'll be a quiet, out of nowhere, last minute loan.

But at this stage, even that is looking unlikely.

Yeah...bit surprised given our need but I suspect the club are as disappointed as we are.

In a way, it's a good thing as it shows we're not just going to buy someone for the sake of it. All the noises coming out of the club suggest a clear plan where the character of the player and suitability for Eddie's style are paramount and take precedence over the need for 'bodies'.

I wonder if we've learnt from the signing of Wood where, to me at least, we needed a striker and got one but it hasn't really worked out? (I know you could argue it worked in the short term as he gave us shape and we stayed up but you'd be hard-pressed to say he fits our style.)

Looking at the clip of Leicester, Maddison has missed a trick. Leicester's star is waning and ours is rising.

May be he was willing to go but Leicester put their foot down and he didn't want to rock boat.

Yep, could well be that, Jammy. Be interesting to see what happens in January.

Particularly if they are still rooted around the bottom.
