Again, let's try to get the facts right rather than compare apples and oranges. The average cap is up by 220% but remember there is up to £1600 per annum being paid to those households that need it most that in many cases (depends on size of house etc) will wipe out the cap increase last April. What hasn't yet been addressed is the next huge increase that takes effect from October, that is what Truss needs to do something about this month
