    Sure does...
In L2 so far, Kristian Dennis 5 goals (3rd best), Kyle Wootton 1 goal.
Before anything else strikers have to be judged on what they do in the oppositions box, goals, attempts, getting in goalscoring position etc. I never want to hear about defence in your own box (Woots) or winning free-kicks on the halfway line (Stead) again. Defenders love playing against those types, they absolutely hate Maca - gives them sleepless nights.

    Cracking result yesterday.
At last, a striker who is a striker. Got pace & runs the channels. Our tippy tappy football & one dimensional previous striker Wootton, was our downfall in previous seasons.

cant speak for other teams but for Notts , , when we were promoted Gary Jones scored 28 goals, hughes 31 goals , and Tommy Johsons goals helped us gain 2 successive promotions to the top flight , so for Notts having a prolific striker is absolutely essential, and has always been necessary when we have been promoted

Looking back to the Solihull game, I remember thinking:
    a) We don't attack enough from the left, notably Chicksen........I know nuffing!
    b) Chicksen can't kick with his right foot...........I know nuffing!

    It's great being a supporter, I wouldn't last 5 minutes as manager!

I've got that loving feeling again.....Err no that's them over the water innit!

    Premier League's taking shape!

A great result and performance. Sat in the mix, undefeated, having played 3 of the current top 5. Bromley next who are in the play offs having only lost once - a hammering last week at D&R - then a few games to really nail our position at the top end. What’s not to like.

And I would imagine there is plenty of dosh in the back for replacements as well.
