    Somebody's put a fiver on him. 😝
I'll be very surprised if he's our next first team coach.

Since we have had this liberal divesting of responsibility its been too easy to hide and lack cohesion.

I can't see that working, managers are about as loyal as players these days, plus where is a manager meant to find the time to do all that? Since Bosman recruitment has totally changed, it's a full time job, it's not as though a manager can build a team and think about slowly/subtly rebuilding it in 3-4 years time, it literally changes from transfer window to transfer window. You could be changing the structure of the club everytime to fit the manager, potentially 3 times a year with the rate we go through managers, think back to ET time when we went from Alec Smith who pushed youngsters then he hired Jobbie McCall and he basically just wanted to sign experienced pros and turfed all the youngsters and didn't show any interest in the youth set up. I imagine even clubs that don't have a sporting director model, run their clubs closer to that model today than the traditional set up.

How do the Uganda players get a long trial period? The goalies on the other hand are just signed-on recommendations? That is just unbelievable. Get them in on trial and see them up close. I think our Sporting Director should have just stuck to directing traffic.

Who knows, if the keepers are established at their clubs under contract, then I guess their clubs wouldn't exactly be happy with us taking them away for a month just to say no thanks.

Yes i take your point but we are not operating the way a normal football club does.If our senior players didna like Pep's formation or tactics he would take us down whereas if they like Liam and keep their influence he may well keep us up.There is no way in the world that we got to 4th last season with Tam Courts calling all the shots he was clearly being assisted by Charlie,Tony Watt and the boys.

You don't know that. There is so much rumour and speculation about this type of thing it's incredible.

All I'll say is this, if the club are seriously considering big Dunc as our next manager then all this player power chat must be absolute *******s, otherwise we are heading straight into the same scenario. Only this time round I doubt Tony Watt and Charlie boy will be able to dictate terms without ending up in a heap.
