    Erik Pieters

See his on a trial at the club now. Free agent with lots of experience of PL/ Championship at full back with Stoke and Burnley.

34 years old last month and has 14 caps for Holland.

For me a better option than Townsend and hopefully could do a job for a season.

Please though one year contract with option for another in the clubs favour.

No chance! Does anybody honestly believe he'll pay any loans back, because I don't?

Good signing if it happens and he is fit, we need cover.

Agree, particularly given the absence of many other new player options. I understand he also can play as centre back, which provides additional benefits !

Pieters is predominantly a left back who can fill in on left midfield, but according to his player stats on Transfermarkt he's only ever played CB once in his career to date.

Kelly whom we've already signed has played right across the backline and is reportedly comfortable in either CB role. Despite his height most of his appearances have come as a right back though.

Al I didn’t realise you were so important!

Your sick of paying old crocs!! Are you Gourlay or Lai?

Just for the record Kean Bryan is 25 years old, hardly an old croc.
