Another quality Ruben has is that he’s a thoroughly nice bloke. I saw him with a group of Notts players having a coffee in West Bridgford. A guy at the next table left a laptop case behind and Ruben called after him, addressing him as ‘Sir’, and being very polite to a complete stranger.
I know it won’t get us promotion but I was thoroughly impressed with him. In fact, the whole group were a credit to the club. Should have got a selfie really but too shy!
