TFA was a good poster Pie. Loves a gamble and I remember well your past contributions you were made very welcome by the vast majority on here. TFA doesnt come on here now, active on FB and runs coaches to our away games from the Bridge Inn..
I was brought up to at times to not say anything if you cant say something nice. Its hrld me in good stead but obviously each to their own!!
Good luck to you and County in all that you do. Had some cracking away days at Nottingham whoever we've been playing!
I'm not against the Royal family got to show respect for their loss. How I see it. They are always in the public eye they are only human won't always get it right.
The freedom of speech thing is raging at the moment.
I agree with it.
However if your going to go round saying exactly what you want when you want there should be consequences.
People will challenge your opinions.
Freedom of speech doesn’t give you the right to not use common decency or just have some manners.
People us it as an excuse to say or act without a thought for other people now that in my book is just wrong.
Some of you lads should get a grip. One poster apparently can't get over the shock of a 96 yo in poor health dying. A bit wimpish.
And you are mainly a dishonest bunch. You rail against posters who you see as disrespectful and that they should keep quiet. Well, I did keep quiet when like most other football sites there was a single thread about the Queen's death.
But, oh no, not good enough for you lot. You start several threads and on each one the same posters tell us how great the Queen was. I only posted - only posted - when the normally sane sota started a thread saying we should all start kneeling and most of you jumped in to agree. One saddo even started rambling about how he kneels for God too. Pathetic.
But when a very few of us suggest it's all a bit OTT you don't like it.
Going out your way to post on here says a lot about a person imo
Hardly out of my way, love. I've been posting on here for 18 years.
By the way, I also have that inconvenient thing called a memory. In the aftermath of Diana's death the Queen was said to be callous and uncaring. In the pubs of Rotherham the general opinion was that the monarchy was finished. Most people - probably quite a few on here - said Charles was unfit ever to be king.
But the grazing herd moves on. You forget. You are assiduously prepared by the Palace spin doctors and the royalist media who see the Royal Family as the crucial apex of the pyramid of privilege and inequality that is the hallmark of this society.
