President is a title that doesn't exist in Scottish politics currently and the people of Scotland would get a choice of who they wished to elect if it were to happen.
Countries have prime ministers as well as presidents. Generally they are separate.
The really interesting part of all this is that were Scotland independent, it could choose who was to be First/Prime minister every few years.
I don't recall anyone being consulted on royalty.
