I don't want to hear anyone moaning about the tories not putting a windfall tax in place on the oil companies in order to help the nation through the winter with their energy bills.

Charlie has just had it confirmed that he won't have to pay inheritance tax on the £15.2 billion ( aye and the rest) left to him by his ma.

40% of that could have heated a fair few homes of the a'rseholes lining the road this winter.

DD, read Norman Baker's book I mentioned a few pages back. You're scratching at the surface.

I downloaded it onto Kindle min.

I've been aware of their constant thieving for many years.
Hopefully there's a few new ones in the book.

There's always a chance, that despite the obnoxious sight of folk grovelling to a deid wifie that they've never met and who has never even remotely helped them in any way, that what we're actually witnessing is the end of the monarchy.

That’s a good point, particularly in these financially trying times. In fact, the legislation precludes the payment of any tax by the Queen and she voluntarily elected to pay tax on the revenues produced by her Estates which decision won’t be binding upon King Charlie. Seems a tad unfair especially given that that income would be more than decent, even if heavily taxed!

Well that's Herself awa... in a big RAF plane. I have to say I was very proud of Scotland and its people. They were dignified, respectful, kind, No real show of Nationalism or Independence support and rightly so. A great pity I can't say the same about the BBC ! they used every opportunity to promote the Union they the BBC gave themselves free licence to openly campaign against independence over the last few days, with their implicit justification being that to allow the other side of the argument would be disrespectful towards the Queen. In one interview that old weasel Nicholas Witchell said 3 times " The Queen vehemently opposed Scottish Independence" Just how the **** would he know ? it was common knowledge the Royals despised Him and seldom talked to him let alone impart incendiary info to a journalist ! Many other were primed to attack our Independence,

The fact the BBC misused this occasion of someone’s death to actively and almost gleefully paint both independence supporters and republicans so negatively is a ****ing disgrace !!!

I really don't know Donanddusted, They are not even subtle about it anymore and are quite overt with it, Like any broadcaster in these Islands they are supposed to be impartial ..don't laugh, They go on about Russian state TV propaganda its sheer hypocrisy. Just need to look at the coverage of Iraq and indeed Northern Ireland to see propaganda at work, Re your question as an individual I stopped paying my TV license in 2013 and I hear many other Scots have also. And as a Nation we vote for Independence and demand a real impartial broadcaster, You got any ideas ?

I'm with you on their bias.
I don't actually think that there is a mainstream media outlet that has an editorial based on independence.
The National is just the Herald with a twist on its stories to stir bitterness and grievance amongst its readers. It seldom shines a light on the positives that independence could bring. Instead it prefers to let the reader know how incompetent WM government is (we know!).
The BBC is most certainly a lost cause.
It's usually better to find an article from a foreign newspaper about Scotland. They tend to be far more honest and balanced
