Yes there's a few ex-loanees (Rodak, Martinez) plying their trade above us but I can't think of any of our own ex-players currently doing so.

As for Crash's original question, I doubt if many (any?) players who leave RUFC voluntarily have left for a smaller pay packet so most will have at least pleased their wife/partner and bank manager independent of any career success.

We take players and give them the opportunity to play but when they leave they are expected to play.

It’s a completely a different mindset. The need to live up to expectation puts pressure on players that they can cope with to start with but it catches up on them.
