Thread: Bruce Out

If or when he goes a choice of Mark Hughes or Chris Houghton is required to complete the set of dinosaurs we have employed over the years

Get a new man in and he will want a transfer window blah blah blah blah....
This is not away to run a football club.
One win in ten is relegation form. Who out there would want this challenge?
No one. Except someone we never hard of and that won't make anybody any happier.
This season is fast approaching "over already "
Interest is waning and we have too many plasters in the squad, who class themselves as players.

I would like to give him the January window and then see where we are.
I'm with you I wouldn't sack him yet.

We are already in a relegation fight - it could be worse then! Our keeper is worse - our defence is worse - our midfield is better and since Fayle left - no change with no recognised striker apart from an injured croc from sunny Florida,

Tactics worse - team selections worse and can’t stand the lack of hunger and passion! Why did Blues show that hunger? Why did Bruce fail miserably at Newcastle?

Rather have an ex player who is hungry! The Sheffield Utd manager was not exactly a star name and they have 20 points and players are hungry and play with passion! Why?

Why let Taylor go on loan and not replace Kipre or Robinson? Where has the Robinson money gone?

Why not welcome back our best player in Clarke for a snip at 2.5 million? Why did Middlesbrough not want Livermore or Reach instead of Mowatt?

This club is a poisoned chalice to any manager. It’s a career killer. I’m always amazed when players say how pleased they are to join such an ambitious club. It’s just Groundhog Day.

I'm fairly sure the club didn't appoint Brucey so he can faff around the lower reaches of the league or to get

.... the odd win here, an odd draw there, here a loss, there a win, everywhere a draw draw...

He wasn't employed to manage old mcdonalds farm but to be managing a team that's now challenging for promotion - ffs he's had enough time to prove he's the man but thus far he has done absolutely nowt to show he can get this team anywhere near. He'd be better off on his allotment

Bruce is past it, probably tired training methods and too old to inspire the players. Having said that, the real problem is Lai, who won’t give any manager the backing they need, so while I think that Bruce should say ‘Goodbye’, there’s probably no point until Lai is gone. League One beckons, folks!
