Exactly. With the players at his disposal, JR should've done far better. Similar I guess to those claiming Thomsons success was purely down to Keltys budget. He still had to get the best out of those players, and by all accounts, he did.

We went for the fans favourite choice last time in Jack Ross and it went ****ing terribly. Im happy enough to see what Fox can do, after all he was the "brains of the outfit" when Courts was manager according to the poisonous rumour mob.

The whole list has me sh*teing myself if I'm being honest. Always liked the way Robson speaks, but again, absolutely zero experience at any first team level. Hopefully there are more names than we are being led to believe.

Do you think he cares what United fans think.

Well, he didn't appoint Malkay Mackay for those very reasons.

Dean Holden one of the other candidates. Michael O'Neills former no.2 at Stoke.

Jim McLean didn't have a managerial record. What he did have was a plan where he had everyone fit and when he was the manager, no matter the opposition, you would see a team go out and try to win it. Nowadays you are lucky to see United create a chance of scoring a goal in a game.

At the time I mind thinking that our pre season with Jack Ross looked a bit jovial and a bit of a piss about--put it down to JR trying to build a rapport with the players. A recent pic of Nicky Clark with a bit of a belly on him us Watt looking a bit chubby might suggest the players are a bit unfit.

Me too. Very worrying if this is the level of candidates.
