Despite being a mad boozer and womaniser, one of the lads really, Billy returned to his hebridean home for the summer and came back having found god. Not only god but the wee free variety of god.
Having just fired the ball wide of the post, the ref gave a goal, but Billy did the christian thing and informed the referee of his mistake.
Suffice to say it was taking the name Theologians too far for the rest of us.
A good man down, Billy was, he wouldn't even come into the Malt Mill for a coke or something.
