Bottom line is other countries look at us scots with pity' it's like imagine going to the Spanish & saying you see your neighbour france just across your border would you like them to rule you and your country has basically no power etc you'd get committed to an institution.

I saw Kris play with Lau ar Cambridge Folk Festival in 2006. We got drunk with Stuart, the box player, in a beer tent afterwards. Great lad. I telt him that his onstage contortions widna have been out of place in Status Quo.

I’m nae really big on contemporary folk. I like Emily Smith, Reg Meuross, Jackie Oates, Robb Johnston, The Unthanks etc. I’m a blues and soul man really but should listen to much mair of that type of thing.

Current band will probably play locally next year, maybe a support slot or two before the end of this year. Probably all covers. Early RNR, a bit of Americana and blues. Good players, and no egos.
