When it was no longer possible to move from one end to the other at half time, I became a Brummie Road ender. I sometimes watch Kettering Town and it’s possible in those matches to move from one end to the other; quite a few do just that, mainly to give them the opportunity to ‘have a go’ at the opposition goalie again!

Hi, You used to have good through the bottom of the the woodman corner , up a few steps in between the Woodman and the Rainbow. Turn right and you was behind the Rainbow, that's where the turn style and gate was. Then there was also one at the other end leading into the Smethwick end.

I reckon that it would cost me about £60 to come to a home game these days, although that would include the cost of visiting the Tavern!

I don't know what any of you are on about, tanners and 6d's indeed lol.
I was born in '71 when we had switched over to real money. 😁

I'm 'only' 54 so this is all a bit before my time. The only occasions I've moved from one end to the other are at none League level or when I've vacated the home end on an away day. The latter was a while ago.

By us lot, I presume you mean Burnsley/Yorkshire ?. 😋
We used to be able to change ends at HT as well until it was stopped, for some reason.
I bet that used to happen at loads of clubs actually.
