My only gripe ( and this will not find agreement with others) is one I've made before : in my humble opinion, the manager should not select himself to start, allowing him to assess the match and make changes to suit the conditions. The strong wind in the first half was crying out for Bange to cause chaos from crosses and set pieces, yet for all our dominance it was a only a brilliant piece of work from Reilly which took us in at half time 1-0.
Wullie had an excellent game yesterday, but he really should have an overview before selecting himself.
In case some argue that I'm only saying this in hindsight, I was asked before the initial whistle and I stated I had grave doubts about Wullie starting.
No doubt this will cause an absolute furore among outraged supporters, but we lost 2 points yesterday and even if we'd won 7-0, I would still say the same thing: the manager should not select himself to start until he has properly assessed the opposition and the conditions on the day.
