Wiles was much better and flashes of his former self.
Time to get Oggy back out wide and let the 3 strikers fight it out for interchangeable 2 places.

Very relieved we're not looking at a 1-3 defeat. Millwall played some decent football in between the blatant holding. Blame the Ref for allowing it.
A lot of work to do, we are miles off being a safe Championship club this season.
The away fans seemed a decent lot tonight. Maybe the Vandle- proof coat stained gang were watching West Ham reserves.

Does Eaves try to win headers or just concentrate on wrestling the defenders?

I thought they out manoeuvred us and we never got to grips with their formation ! I think they were playing 433 ? Right back was very fast and made good breaks from deep, they also had a man wide left who was also very fast and caught us out on a few breaks ! Our midfield never controlled the game at any stage and we’re often too deep and out of position.
Ogbenie only looked dangerous when he picked ball up deep and got a head of steam up, running at them, he never caused problems when he played centrally, Washington needs a foil to play off, like err Smith or maybe Kelly ? thought we missed a trick when taking Bramall off , we should have moved Chieo wide left or Cuffy and brought Kelly on up front ? We looked like an average division one side ? much work to do ! Never understood some of Warney signings, Eaves, Bramall and Bola just to mention three !

There's a saying in football, it goes something like...
If you can't win then don't lose and that's what we did.
Created nothing up front around the 'box' area and that's not just down to the strikers.
Link between midfield and front two is practically non existent.
Conor is not 100% fit neither is Tom Eaves.
Plenty to work with for MT, much better from Ben Wiles, Dan Barlaser had a decent game, Viking saved us once again.
In a different Championship season we would have lost that game.
Millwall will feel aggrieved at not taking all three points.

A positive....we didn't lose and moved up the table.
Expecting MT to go with wide players on both flanks and ditch the 3-5-2 system.

mmmmm, where do you start? Looked great for the first 15mins. Got lucky with the pen twice, getting it and then scoring.

Even in the 1st half the ball was just coming straight back, why kick it up to Chieo and Washingthon when their defenders are 6ins bigger?

Great goal by them but shouldn't we be closing the guy down to stopping him doing that?

We looked void of any idea's, even when Eaves came on( he looks slower than me and i'm 71), 3 yr deal?? Christ, well done PW.

Only 1 team looked like scoring, and it wasn't us. Millwall looked a far better side than us by miles. Their supporters will be upset they didn't win.

Why do we sign 2 left c/B and keep playing Wes on the left? Is that a sign that they arn't good enough? This has been a question that's never been answered. Cheers PW, you did it.

    Hopefully MT will sort it.

Beg to differ. It looked like they were playing 4-2-3-1 with Bradshaw up front. Two wide players were pushing forward at every opportunity may have given the impression they were playing 3 up front.
Fleming one of the three behind Bradshaw also had a free role and got his reward with a cracking strike for his goal.
Four at the back meant they were solid in defence.
They caused us problems all night although defensively we didn't do too badly. Hall looks solid even allowing for his yellow card, Harding also had a much better game and last line of defence Viktor saved us once again.
    Well earned fortunate point.

Lots of people on here think we should be a steady Championship team like Luton and Millwall( just to highlight 2).

What they don't realise is these other teams spend money and we don't.

C Morris cost £1.2M for luton and the guy Flemming(what scored tonight for Millwall) cost £1.7M................we are miles away from these teams.

    Im of a similar thought
Bramall had a bad gane is he fullynfit if not play bola
Rathbone is to erractic play odoffin in the holding role with dan further up
Eaves dont get me started, donkey is perhaps the best word. I just dont get why kelly isnt started
