They all stayed "on message" this week. No 10 PR sent a text to all Ministers this week that any answer they give must include-

    "a distraction"

    "we get it"

    "we listened"

---and the cringeworthy three word slogans are still with us--

"Growth, growth, growth", "Getting Britain Moving" etc

I have to say they (Truss and her Cabinet) all seem a bit thick to me.

Funniest part of the week fo me was the camera panning across the audience when Theresa Coffey wo droning on abart ABCD and heyf onnem were fast asleep or nodding off.

    Ad be voting Labour.

For decades I was a traditional Labour voter - and at one time I was a member of the party.

These days I very much vote on who would be best for our environment.
Boris was good for the environment - but poor on detail.
Truss has indicated she is going to reverse everything Boris put forward.
Labour - as always - saying very little on the subject.

I came to the conclusion a while ago that no political party represents my views.
So now I’m a supporter of Proportional Representation.

Haven't Labour put forward if in government a Green Energy Plan which would create a million new and well paid jobs plus of course the switch from more traditional forms of energy ?

If Andy Burnham was elected labour leader I’d make the effort to visit the booth, it doesn’t matter in my constituency anyway (Hoyland) you could pin a red rose on a chimpanzee n it’ll win, respect to him for what he’s done for for Hillsborough n Manchester’s stand in Covid

Just my opinion and this should apply to no matter who is in power because it's happened with both Labour and the Tories .

If you change the leader during your tenure in government you must call an election once that leader is elected .

Truss has absolutely no mandate from the electorate for the policies she's pursuing .

Her ideology isn't what the country voted for in 2019 .

You win the leadership of your own Party whilst in government on a mandate and you should also put that mandate to the country .

Got to disagree with you on that one, we vote for a party not a prime minister , I think if we had to have a general election when a PM dies or has happened with Johnson & is removed then we would be turning into an American style presidency & I do not want that . I have always voted labour & hope they forge ahead with their mandate at election , I do no not want to put that at risk because of a change of leader, policy should be policy & hopefully the party will carry out their promises choose who is at the helm.
