Liverpool is a wonderfully, upwardly mobile, vibrant city that makes Rotherham look like a boil on the ar*ehole of Britain. Yes, it, like most places, have isolated drug issues, but so does Eastwood and Canklow. Carry on with outdated clichéd stereotyping if it makes you feel proud of yourself.

I lived in Liverpool for many years (relatively recently), I disagree with you completely. Not great at all. As Grist points out, I know where I’d rather be.
