I thought we were unlucky not to get a point vs St. Johnstone tbh. 65% possession and double the amount of goal efforts according to that article. They certainly didn't 'dominate' us like the report states, however they carved our defence wide open for the goals due to us being as weak as sh*te at the back. Certainly by full time, there was only one team going to score the next goal had it come.

    Are you for real??
Our possession for many a game now, consists of just passing across the back four, into midfield, back again, until we lose it, and the opposition score!
Saturday, was the first game for a while that bucked that trend, and thank feck!

I am, yes. I thought by the end of the game, we were unlucky not to come away with a point. We were finishing that game far stronger than they were.

I agree with this, as annoyed as I was at the time, we finished the game very strongly.

By the end of the game….
Too late, the damage was done, and we never picked up a point! Tbh, doesn’t matter (really) what happens during the game, it’s all about the result and points, which we have been sorely lacking!
As I said, Saturday bucked the trend, hopefully the team can match Saturday’s attitude, performance and result, but we need that each and every game!
We need results the next few games, simple as, and anyone not giving 120% should deserve criticism, as the fans deserve better!
This is no time for happy clappers, trust me. If we don’t improve, and quickly, we are down. Those that (stupidly) think there are many points still to be won, are kidding themselves on and need reminding, that a team mentally defeated before they take the pitch will not win (what happened last time, when we were relegated). Oh, and our keepers then were just as p!sh !! 😞

Lol a bbc reporter.... I wasnt the only one who thought we were decent, better than previous home games for a start, the first goal was poor and soft to lose from nowhere, it changes things big time, they didn't create anything till then, crowd turned, we regrouped well, some poor decision making in final third when we cut them open and a terrible ref who favoured them

Another noticeable stat last two games and yes I know we made fun of the fun about corner count and Craig Brown got stick for it but I reckon we have been guilty of giving away set pieces too cheaply for a long time now and it's beef frustrating to watch us out pressure on ourselves when it's partly avoidable, 9-0 vs saints and 4-1 vs sheep, need to keep that up, Porteous is a big threat at corners/set plays and it protects a main Eriksson weakness

By the end of the game, yes. You don't come away with a a point midway through a game?
I'm saying how I saw the game overall and that was one where we were torn apart far too easily for the goals (as usual) but were unlucky in the end not to draw level. Something changed at half time, we've taken the second half of that game into last weekend, and we all saw what happened. Hopefully we can do the same tomorrow but Hibs will be far tougher than any of the previous two teams.
Disagree that it doesn't matter what happens during the game. Of course it does. The major difference on Saturday was the fight & desire of the players on the pitch. They left it all on the park and were back to throwing their bodies in front of every shot. That matters! Without that, we don't get the result.
I'm not sure who you're calling a happy clapper? I've said numerous times we're in the heart of a relegation battle as we're already cut adrift from the rest of the league. I don't let that blinker my viewpoint of a match though.

A happy clapper seems to be anyone that saw anything positive in a match. Christ, even when we win some folk aren't happy and moaning about the 'quality of the football'. 🤔

The thing is though St Johnstone went 2-0 up and were quite happy for us to have the ball so giving up 2/3 possession for them doesn't come into the equation at the end of the day. We also had 70% of the possession v St Mirren earlier in the season and lost that game 3-0,they scored and soaked it up,scored and soaked it up,scored and....... When our forward play is rudderless its so easy for teams to play against us as they know they can defend against us no problem then pick us off on the counter. The Sheepy game we kind of done that Same thing to them and that kind of tactic would be more than welcome tonight.
