I’ve got no problem with Hunt, he always comes over to me a reasoned and thoughtful MP and minister.

The biggest surprise to me is the fact Truss seems to think she can cling onto her position.

This whole mess comes down to two things for me,

1/ Boris employing Cummings once elected and not employing a serious and sensible private secretary.

2/ Boris telling silly fibs and half truths over the Covid party issue instead of holding his hands up and saying sorry.

If he’d taken the right choice with point number 1 then point number 2 wouldn’t have happened.

Much as I’ve always liked Boris as an individual I think it’s fair to say that not only did he deliver the biggest majority in a generation but he’s also responsible for the total collapse of the Tory Party.

That’s pretty much his life blueprint, in his private life and his career he creates something with his sheer force of character and then destroys that thing with hubris and childlike behaviour.

Truss has to go though, I heard her described last night as a PINO.....Prime minister In Name Only.
