Well you should be comforted then as they're not really in charge.

Seems like the City of London is in charge as well as other rich, powerful people further away.

Yes that is correct, the private banks and the large banking families have run most of the world for hundreds of years, politicians have no real power.

The electorate in this country have voted for free market economics consistently in this country since 1979 and this covers both Tory and Labour governments .

That option changed in 2017 and 2019 and the electorate stuck to free market economics .

There's no conspiracy theories , deep state or any other fruitcake theories .

A bunch of right wing free marketeers on steroids have taken over the Conservative Party , that's what's happened .

The markets and dare I say the vast proportion of the electorate found it a bit too extreme for their liking and rejected it out of hand and put some of the main characters out of office .

It's as simple as that .

All just a pantomime to make Boris look good so he can stage a comeback.

The markets thought free-marketeers were too extreme? That hardly sounds likely. It was because they weren't balancing the books and the two year commitment to subsidising ebergy bills.

Shame she's gone, best entertainment I've seen for a long while. A Parliament not fit for purpose. Like a big set of kids in the playground. Meanwhile who's been running the country since August.

    Further afield than that.

The USA for example has huge influence, we pretty much copy anything they do and our government aligns with theirs.

Mind you, Biden is not in charge either, that much is obvious, I'd love to know who is.

No I said free marketeers on steroids , what ever you want to say about the finance industry and I'm hardly a fan myself but none the less mortgages not getting paid and mortgage products disappearing from their brochures plus the pound crashing isn't considered a good thing .

Even a bar as low as the finance sectors .
