What annoys me about the Labour Party is how they blame the Tories for the financial mess that we find ourselves in yet when they were ousted from power, as they admitted themselves, 'the cupboard was bare!' An important point being that they didn't have to face the various world crises that the Tories have had to face over this period, yet they still bankrupt us. As I've said before, it"s easy to criticise when you don't have to make the decisions.

Having said this, it doesn't excuse the political mess that the Tories find themselves in

I don't know how to respond to you as when I have disagreed with you previously you have said "you have really got it in for you", which I certainly haven't BTW.

But, just a quick question though given your comment about what Labour faced, do you believe the 2008 world financial crisis when there was a run on Northern Rock Bank and our behemoth banks like RBS nearly collapsed until Labour bailed them out was a minor hiccup in your world view and wasn't a drain on the public purse?

And yes I know Brown sold the gold cheap blah, blah, blah.

You are completely entitled to your opinions as we all have differing opinions on many and varied topics. I don't hold grudges BB and will always be interested in what you have to say.
