Its a novatech cooler master. Cooler Master is a label on the front. Novatech is an online computer maker in Portsmouth, you can order pcs online at a much lower cost.

I was going to do Stefans thing. No matter what i do, something fouls up. I will wait if you have a suggestion, ive gone through the control panels etc.

Which internet browser do you use :-
    Google Chrome?
    Mozilla Firefox
    Apple Safari?
    Microsoft Edge?
    Microsoft Internet Explorer?
    Opera?

Each of them may have a slightly different nuance regarding cookies.

As a general principle when things are deleted all that happens is that the file name in an index is deleted and the space occupied by the file is marked as being available for use, to write new files. So, the less that you use your computer between deleting and trying to recover anything the better. You may not yet have over-written that space. But it could be that normal use over-writes that space because of the way that Windows works, it may create files that you are not aware of. I cannot be certain that such a principle of use of space applies to cookies but it may do.

Click the ellipse (the three vertical dots) in the upper right hand area of the browser window and select Settings. Scroll down to "Clear on Exit" and click the "Add" button. The cookie(s) for the site you added will now be cleared when you exit the browser, but the passwords remain

Sorry Frank I cannot add pictures from my phone, by setting this it will automatically clear history & cache but will retain passwords.

Banter aside, hope this helps 👍

I have found the three buttons, but it has none of the above. Its a fairly new computer, and of course its even less user friendly getting onto its control panel is a major achievement.

Ive changed some of the settings in regards to cookies, so i hope to have solved it. Even going from the cambridge board to this one, my comp scrubs passwords. Im going out to come back in. See what happens. Thanks for the help.

For some web sites that use passwords you are not necessarily locked out. Some sites have a 'Forgot Password?' option that you can take. This asks for your email address which you gave when you set up the password. It then emails that address. In that email is a 'Change Password' link which you can use.

This principle may apply for some of the web sites that you use.
