It's not really a risky Labour Party Grist , Starmer is seen as credible , or credible enough , to be fair that's not exactly hard given the current Tories .

Labour are taking votes off the Tories .

They are way ahead of where they were in 1997 when they secured a 180 seat majority .

There's nothing the Tories can do other than slightly lose by less .

Once these things happen you can't change it , it's completely out of their hands because they've lost control of the economy and in doing so the trust of the electorate .

Another leadership contest just adds to the fact they've lost control .

They'd be well advised to call a GE pretty sharpish and get this done with because if they carry on with this thing for too much longer and with Farage threatening to stage a comeback they may be done for good .
