I think this is the problem. I look at your side and its a mish mash of random players. Not knocking your pick Dave as mine would be the same. None of us know the best 11 or what the best formation is. What happened to Chambers?

I think Gerrard had his own bomb squad with the likes of Chambers, Sanson and Buendia. I was tempted to put Chambers in but with Tony up front for Brentford, I thought we need the height. McGinn, Coutinho and Watkins need a reset, I also think Konsa is looking quite average and too easy to beat. Who knows, as I said a free hit

If we had a decent striker i would play Watkins on the left or right of a front 3. Bailey doesnt deserve a start. I would take the captaincy off Mginn who has seriously gone down hill.
Maybe we need to look at a back 3 and then put the likes of Ramsey at fullback. It says something when a 37 year old Young is our best player.

Disagree on Konsa mate, for the most part he's looked more like the player we saw in the behind closed doors season, any defence would be left more exposed without a proper DM in front of them and because we aren't scoring the scrutiny on him & Mings is even greater.

Bailey, not been the explosive pacey player since his injury - remember the goal against Everton last season?
