We've got to stop thinking left wing/right wing. Howdy is right, there's a money drain to the super rich and the gap is widening. It's morally wrong and just increases the cost of living for the majority as the minority buy more assets with their booming wealth. House prices today = 8x average salary compared to 4x 20 years ago. It will get worse, much worse. More and more people will have to rent, which results in more wealth to the super rich. A whopping 10% of the total welfare budget is supposedly spent on housing benefit, the bulk of which is to pay the rent of poor people who can't afford it. More and more property being snapped up by foreign investment companies....more of the welfare budget handed over to them. It's a win-win for the Tories who can brag about increasing welfare...in effect, they're giving it to their mates. The whole system stinks.

You're right Howdy, time to ditch the two party system although how we do that with it being stitched up by the two of them is beyond me.
