Not sure why predicting one team's goal tally is lucky Chris, any more than predicting both team's score or the result is lucky. But I agree, the scoring system is a tad unsatisfactory, but it's too late do anything about it now. We can revise the scoring system next summer, I'll put a thread up then asking for suggestions.

I'm a bit disappointed you haven't joined in Sub, I'm sure you're predictive skills are as sharply honed as anyone else's on here. In fact, I reckon you could join in now and still win it.

Sorry, sinkov, nothing personal, however, in normal times I am away for large chunks of the season and never log onto anything very much. Our original plan was to be away from late September right through to November but I cancelled because they were talking about having to wear masks for the privilege. Instead, we are now going away in January and all March and early April. I just have a look whta others think and it is the first time that I have passed comment during last night's game which I could see possibly slipping away.
