Evening Zippity, I agree the performance on Sunday reflects badly on Gerrard but not the players, he repeatedly went with what was not working including out of form players and tepid ponderous play. Hope it's a good game tomorrow and the best side take the spoils.

Again, I'm speaking as an outsider looking in but it seems to me you've got the core of a decent squad and you'd think Emery has been promised funds in January so things could look very different then. Your man is a huge upgrade on Gerrard and, whilst there's no denying we've spent good money, the key is having a good coach, which is what we have in Howe and what you now have.
