    Kiosko and Bramall we paid fees for.....

    3 yrs for Eves does seem strange but he might not have signed a 2yr deal, then who else?
    It's easy to judge later but these players were sifted out has targets in our budget and looked good additions on paper, can't remember lots complaining when we sign them.

    I agree. I'm pretty sure we signed the best players we could given our budget and given who did/didn't want to play for RUFC. Whether they liked the proverbial 'green tea' might also have played a part in the equation. If we hadn't signed these players who could we have signed that met our criteria? The other option of course would have been to sign nobody but that would have left us unable to fulfil our fixtures.
