But I'm sure if he had money to spend he wouldn't off signed them. X,(which was mu point)
Kiosko and Bramall we paid fees for.....

3 yrs for Eves does seem strange but he might not have signed a 2yr deal, then who else?
It's easy to judge later but these players were sifted out has targets in our budget and looked good additions on paper, can't remember lots complaining when we sign them.

I agree. I'm pretty sure we signed the best players we could given our budget and given who did/didn't want to play for RUFC. Whether they liked the proverbial 'green tea' might also have played a part in the equation. If we hadn't signed these players who could we have signed that met our criteria? The other option of course would have been to sign nobody but that would have left us unable to fulfil our fixtures.

    A nominal fee

    Not a championship fee

That wouldn't fit the agenda. I'm not sure this post has gone to plan so far 🤭😉

Would you prefer us to pay more for them? Is it possible for you to put a figure on what is a championship fee

According to what was posted on the 'out of contract' players thread only 47 players attracted a fee in the Championship in the summer transfer window so in paying for 2 (whatever the fee) we were 'above average'.

Yes but that includes teams who in part are w established championship team with championship players

That's a big difference to a team coming up from league 1 with only a couple championship standard players

That also includes teams who was in the premiership last season

No I would prefer it if we had money to buy better than them.

400k is our record for ladepo and it hasn't been bettered in what 3/4 years.

400k in the championship is a joke.

Nevermind a record signing who doesn't even play for you anymore

You make it sound like everyone has started the season on a even basis

Let's forget the past few seasons when the tears in this league have spent millions on transfers and wages for the players they still have now

    Above average.

Luton Town spent 2 million on a striker pre season
He was one off the 47 players who attracted a fee

Above average your having a laugh
