    FAO Animalittle3

Could I ask a couple of questions please?

Is it right that Barnsley haven’t had a manager for more than 2 full seasons since Danny Wilson in 94?

Do Barnsley fans go on about ex players that are doing well such as John Stones and Mason Holgate as much as our fans go on about ex players that go on to do well?

You could well be right about a manager that hasn't done two consecutive seasons here since Danny boy .

Managers who do well get poached off us , managers that don't get the sack , it is what it is I suppose .

Not necessarily John Stones who we knew straight away was destined for the very top even at 18 years old .

Mason Holgate hardly gets mentioned to be honest , left under a cloud and he's not the nicest human being either , more of good riddance at the time .

The ones we tend to talk about are the ones we let go who we feel with a bit more ambition we should have kept , Pinnock , Adam Davies , Kieffer Moore , Liam Lindsay , Jacob Brown , Brad Potts , Alex Mowatt and last summer Carlton Morris .

Had countless opportunities to cement a championship place and we seem to feck it up every time .

Not sure about that to be honest , The Millers with all due respect are low level financially in the championship where as I don't think we are , don't get me wrong we aren't high level either by any means .

Last season's wage bill came in at £14.6m and we've bought countless players for over a million quid .

We've also had a good deal of money come back to the club in the transfer market .

It's very poor decisions at championship level that is the crux of our struggles .

Broke up two very good teams in the last five years , Hecky's team and Daniel Stendel's .

Same as every club in our section of the football pyramid we have to shift one or two on to balance the books but selling half the team in one hit on two occasions when championship status was very achievable is down right stupid not to mention pyssing off two very good managers .

If Tony Stewart had seen the money that's passed through Oakwell over the last 7 years you'd never have seen league one .

I had no idea you had spent so much money on wages.

Another example that a bigger budget is fine if it is managed properly.

Especially now we are losing a million quid a month .

Talk of a takeover doing the rounds , needs to happen too or we are in the shyte .
