When you say "the players are good enough for the Championship" do you mean to compete to a decent standard or just about survive in the division? Personally I think it can only be the latter because too many of them are incapable of sustaining the required level for long enough which means we are likely to be inconsistent whoever manages the team.

I tend to agree about the way we are playing at the moment and I've struggled to work out what style (not formation) the new manager is trying to implement.
The press is disjointed and all over the place, there seems to be less energy in the team and the attempts to pass the ball around and retain possession usually end up by putting the opposition on the attack.
It's pointless hoofing it forward and hoping isomething happens because we no longer have that player who can make the ball stick and bring others into play. In any case, this approach is outdated and never likely to succeed in the Championship.
I appreciate that Taylor needs time but he has to quickly establish a coherent way of playing that everyone buys into because this division is unforgiving and we could easily slide into the bottom 3 with the difficult run of fixtures we're facing. If that happens I fear a lot of our supporters will quickly lose patience.
