I'm going to next week's game against Stoke, off to the Vine... love the beer (Bathams then Holdens usually on match day). Yes it is busy but good places usually are.

As I live in Yorkshire I don't go but I used to go every home game and it has often been the best part of the day!

Will be in the snug opposite the second bar if anyone fancies joining me and my dad and some mates.

Hoping we can continue the well organised performances post Bruce!!!

AL is also in Harrogate Steve and I'm from Harrogate originally :-))

    Whereabouts in Harrogate mate?

I was born and brought up in Bilton and went to New Park infants school before moving to the West Midlands.

I am near St John Fisher school now, but had my fist house in Bilton off Rawson Street opposite the allotments.

I like it up here, often dread going back down to the Midlands again!

Hopefully see you there on Saturday, if not enjoy the game

Small world Steve, my one nan lived on Charles Avenue just off Rawson Street and I've actually arranged to buy the house back off the present owner when she moves on in the next year or so, I spent most of my summer holidays living at nan's in the 70's and playing at the field at the bottom of the road.

My grandad's back garden opened straight onto his allotment, the one's you speak of.

My other grandparents lived in the old people's apartments on Alder Rd, just off the end of Rawson Street.

When I visit a couple of times a year I stay in a house on King Edwards Drive directly opposite the Morrisons mini market.

I love the area and can't wait to get old of nan's old house again.

How come you ended up in Harrogate and have you lived there long?

Wow, it is a small world, we were on Pine Street! Loved the house and area.

I went to uni in 2000 and when I finished in 2003 had the choice of going back to the Midlands (near the ld Irish Harp on he Chester Road near Aldridge) or up to my now wife's parents in Harrogate.

I love it up here so never considered going back, plus now have 2 kids in school down Claro Road.

Let me know if you fancy a beer next time you are up! Al, if you are up for a beer let me know too!

My dad goes most home games as a season ticket holder and knows the owner of The Vine (Sukhi) and managed to get a couple of tables reserved somehow for going for the past 20 years! It's great crack but can be a little crammed after 2pm!

Maybe see you on Saturday anyway as I said we will be in the Snug opposite the first bar on the right, we will find somewhere to sit!
