lets be careful with picking on MT with these run of games, let us not forget we went down 3 times under the great PW the last time we took just 7 points from the last 12 games, including 7 home games which included defeats to teams in the relegation battle Birmingham, Wycombe and Coventry.

If you think PW would have get better results and performances from this squad, with these many games, I think you have a short memory. Not saying MT is better than PW but the bloke has got us playing football and seems to have these players putting their body on the line for him and the club, lets get behind him and stop going on about PW, because this is a PW squad and he walked out on us and took all his support team with him on the same day, that left us in the crap with no coaches at the club, that wigan game could be crucial in the end as well

And we don’t mention the lead we squandered last season and didn’t go up as champions

Let's be honest m8. It's not rocket science. We know who works and in what position.
We all know wood and peltier in the same team doesn't work.
We all know Humphreys is a must in the back 3 as he's so calm in possession. Imo motm yesterday.
We all know that bramhall and cuffy are better going forward than defending.
We all know wiles is consistent but nobody in the team can out work him.
Barlaser, rathbone, Linsey, Chio. We all know what they bring and where they can play. All MT has to do is play the best players in the right position.

Warne fav comments were. "We have watched the opposition and set up accordingly". Problem with that is if his interpretation was wrong we get stuffed. I would sooner MT set up to our strength and then change it/have a plan B when it doesn't work.

Yes, good shout on Humphreys for mom Cayton. I'll go with that. He was the fine line difference between the win and a draw.

There was one occasion last night when, with an opposition attacker on his back and under pressure on the edge of our penalty area, he feinted a back pass to Viktor, turned, and left the other bloke yards behind, all on one move. Quality. He's the only one in the whole squad with that level of cool and accomplishment to confidently pull off a move like that.... maybe Geordie Pirlo as well, but I'd back Humphreys every time.

Been talking to a Blade and he said they looked tired after playing Burnley.I then reminded him that we had also played Burnley in a one hundred minute match with ten men for the last 30 minutes,followed by Norwich where we had to make three enforced substitutions and were unlucky not to get a result.All this and we go to the" in form team" with a depleted squad and we were magnfiicent and thoroughly deserved to win, playing good football.Blademan agreed,you did deserve the victory.
