Has anyone thought about or mentioned Liff road that runs along the back of Camperdown park, a very long road that could house a lot of parked up coaches with a simple slip road onto the kingsway, or even back down Liff road to come out at the Asda

Liff Road which runs along the back of Camperdown Park currently joins the Kingsway just beyond the petrol station.
However these supporters buses would still have to negotiate the traffic lights at the Myrekirk roundabout either going to the game or after the end of the game.

Islay, no matter where they go supporters' buses will need to negotiate traffic lights, circles (roundabouts to you) and other traffic. They have no divine right to free and uninterrupted journeys to or from a football match.

Just because you see something as a problem it doesn't mean it is a problem or that there isn't a solution.

It was considered right at the start when the first lot of plans were made up. On the face of it it does seem the perfect solution to take traffic off Kingsway at Myrekirk and round the back of the site with the reverse route back. The thing that was against it was the narrow road between Birkhill and Myrekirk, it would have needed widened to allow buses to pass safely and the sharp bend at the bottom of the hill would need to have been removed. Temporary traffic lights at the Birkhill end would've taken care of the turn off /and onto that road from Coupar Angus Road.
