    🤣🤣🤣🤣

First bit of football I can remember is the 1970 FA Cup Final replay when Chelsea beat Leeds as my dad was a Leeds fan.

First match I ever watched in full was the 1971 FA Cup Final when Charlie George got the winner for Arsenal v Liverpool.

What an iconic goal and image that was.

    Leeds V Sunderland....I think 1974.
Sunderland won 1-0. I was beginning to take to football but had no team as such. But loved John Giles as a player and so was drifting towards Leeds.
Still can't believe they lost that game....

Best double save of all time in my opinion by Jim Montgomery! 😎

I can't watch that save again...I am still expecting to see the ball cross the line. Wonderful save, which for obvious reason I just could not appreciate back then...I got distracted with the date by the WC date....or maybe I didn't...fcuk, maybe I am losing it quicker then I thought...

Second shot was by Peter Lorimer who had the hardest shot in football at the time, as the ball dropped to him there was no way he couldn’t score.

I was lucky enough to be behind that goal along with all the Mackems. The atmosphere was superb all day.

I remember watching the 1970 WC well ... decent England side ...heartbreak against West Germany ... epic 4-3 between Italy and Germany ... and a class Brazil side ... maybe the best side ever ...great tournament with only 16 sides so no meaningless games to churn through ...
