    Fake fans

Had to smile seeing the England team being welcomed by a group of England "fans" in Qatar, singing it's coming home. (to the wrong tune

And the well known chant "Southgate is our supercoach"

Who were the fans I heard on Magpie Player singing "Luke Williams is our jolly boss".

I've done more than my share of complaining about the venue for this world cup, but I'm at the stage now where I'm just grateful there won't be any vuvu f-ing zela's. This might turn out to be a bad world cup but it can't be a harder watch than 2010, surely.

The vuvuzelas were surprising good for drinking - ideal for a “half a yard of ale contest”. Thank God I downed a few cans through one prior to the England v Algeria 0-0 in Cape Town to numb the pain.

It can, at least ordinary South Africans have a love for the game.

FIFA should pay back their bribes and cancel this sham. There is no joy to be had from anything in Qatar.

That reminds me of when North Korea played in the World Cup. Their group of 'fans' all wore identical uniforms and clearly had no idea what was going on. They had a leader who seemed to have basic football knowledge, and they all just copied what he did!
