Only 4 replies from what I can see but it looks like Eversley came out of the gate strong getting all answers correct in the first and last question. Surprisingly the 2nd question was the one that stumped most and in fact again Eversley was the only one to get one of the teams albeit in the wrong position.
The only two teams out of the 32 that have no players in their squad plying their trade in the English leagues.
1. Qatar (all their squad play in Qatar)
2. Saudi Arabia (all their squad play in Saudi Arabia)
Iran actually have 1 player (Saman Ghoddos of Brentford) as do quite a few other countries.
With regards players playing in their own country, England are next after these two with all but 1 (Bellingham) playing in England.
Apart from England and Wales, in order the three countries with the most players in their squad plying their trade in the English leagues.
1. Brazil (12)
2. Senegal (10)
3. Portugal (were 2nd= with 10 until Ronaldo quit Man Utd)
In order, the three English clubs with the most players representing their country
1. Man City (16)
2. Man Utd (13)
3. Chelsea (12)
These are closely followed by Spurs (11) and Arsenal (10). Surprisingly Liverpool only have (7) which is less than Brighton (8).
Barcelona are the team with the most representation at the WC (17).
English leagues have 164 players at the WC (30 from outside the Premiership) with Spain being a distant 2nd with 86 and Germany 3rd with 80.
If I was impressed with the quality of the question the answer has trumped it.
Thank you.
