Just watched the two bookings on tweeter , Griffiths booking wasn’t even a foul , how he got booked for that only the ref knows , but the McGowan booking was a deliberate jersey pull and definite booking that could look dodgy to the police

Rules are if you can see both goals from the centre spot the game goes ahead. Unfortunately, especially once it's started, the view from stands isn't taken into account.

Don't have Twitter but saw the McGowan one. Very strange decision to grab the jersey of a player in space in the middle of the park with no immediate danger present. Guaranteed booking for no real cost so agree it looks dodgy. Will try to catch the Griffiths one.

Having said that, is putting a bet on an excitable player and an ex Hibs player, both of whom would be getting wound up by opposition players and fans, getting booked in a game against Hearts really that strange?

I think it's against SFA / SPFL rules for a professional footballer to bet on any football in this country so yes, if they've placed bets it's instant disciplinary.

Not sure who the third person is but if they've all been in cahoots and the third person has placed a large bet on both being booked then it's very dodgy.

If they really go after footballers who've bet on football that'll be about 75% of them.

If those pair have placed bets on things to happen in a Dundee game they are plain thick and would be well advised never to set foot in the city again.
