I was surprised he started with Jay and not Ash but a great result.
After the break,we'll done to all concerned for a great performance. 👍

Tella had a lucky escape, that might have been him for the season if he'd gone down the Black Hole. How the feck is that allowed ?
I agree sinkov. Incredibly dangerous. Surely the officials should have spotted that and insisted that it be closed. Thankfully no player on either side fell down it.
Other than that, a great performance from the lads. Apart from the defeat at Sheffield, we are looking like promotion contenders. Top scorers too despite all my fears about our strike force.
Aye,how do they get away with that?
The perfect way to return after the World Cup break. QPR had a decent penalty shout in the first minute but after that it was a masterclass from Kompany’s Classy Clarets.
A player who realises that the ball is going out of play and then drags his left foot from Shepherds Bush all the way into the penalty area so that he makes contact with his opponent should never get a penalty --he did a Harry Kane, Delli Ali etc. in order to try to manufacture a penalty and he failed, mind you, he fooled lots of our fans too who think that this should have been a penalty.
Likewise, Jack Cork did nothing wrong and he was not fouled, however, the referee thought that he had been and we got the free kick. Unfortunately, this is what happens in a contact sport ---some you win and some you lose ---that's football.
I have no time for cheating. That has nothing to do with it being a contact sport. Dyche was a voice in the wilderness on that one.
At the World Cup there have been several instances where players have dived looking for a penalty. If the penalty is not given, it means that no foul has been committed. It can only mean that, either the player fell over, there was legal contact or the player dived.
In a genuine situation, as with Mount being barged in the back, or Saka being tripped up, there are no theatrical performances in going down. Contrast that with Bruno Fernandes of Portugal going down like he had been scythed down. He nearly threw in a triple pike for good measure.
No penalty given. He had clearly not been fouled and his body language showed that he had not tripped up. So why was he not booked?
Until referees pay attention to simulation it will only get worse.
There was a period a while back when refs were giving yellows for simulation, that seems to have gone by the board, it's a rare event nowadays.
