Wing back is a hard position to get right, Chio can do it well, and obviously Kioso too,and Fergusson is great in that role,if a bit less dynamic, no sure if it suits Wes to be honest.
Maybe a switch back to 4-4-2 would suit everyone st the moment, we've enough natural wingers and full backs.
So if MT sticks with 352 where does cuffy fit in when we have 2 arguably 3 who can play the role better?

I think based on what I saw of Kioso, I would play him first at this moment in time, and if Chio was free to resume wing back then I'd play Chio there also but I think Cuffy will soon blow both of them out of the water, prb this season with more game time. He's going to be a top player. I personally don't think he was the weak link on Saturday, far from it but if he struggled it was due to the strategy of playing too ofar forward as a team and leaving a huge gap to exploit Pelts. I think the other wing backs would have been the same tbh

I can't disagree regards Saturday but thos thread wasn't born on the last performance. It's on a general best for the team. I have no doubt he will be a great player in the future but in the near future we could be in league one.

Btw my post has nothing to do with cuffys future ability it's for the good of the team this season and the retaining championship status beyond may...

I agree with Cayton, in fact I’ve said it before - If Kioso is fit he plays every week for me. BNC was a bit of an emergency signing to cover Kioso’s first injury - he has done ok, but we don’t have the luxury of allowing him time to learn how to defend.

BNC has shortfalls, shortfalls that can largely be covered when other selections in the team compensate for those weaknesses. Saturdays team didn't do that. I really like what he does for us overall, enough that I wouldn't contemplate not playing him. When he plays he should have Wes in the right of the three behind him, someone who has enough pace to cover the space he can leave on occasion. But yes, he does also need to do better.

I like the prospect of Kioso and what I've seen in small spurts. The issue is banking on a guy who we can't get on the pitch. Hopefully his bad luck with injuries ends soon and if he dislodges BNC through playing well, brilliant.

So if continue to play 352 from
Kioso, ogbene, Harding and cuffy which is best suited to RWB?
Obv cuffy is 3rd-4th choice so where are you playing him of not RWB?
I don’t know if he’s 3rd/4th choice glad you do

Like I’ve pointed out he has faults so do the others but your stating he should never play for us again which imo is silly and others agree by looks.
Whoever best suits the opposition on the day will probably be on the pitch and that’s down to management to get that one right

Kioso would be first choice on one side, other side is a matter of preference , I'd go for BNC,he has a real threat going forward.

Brooke clearly has huge talent and at present his attacking qualities can be gamechanging. What we need to do is be aware that when he does go forward someone covers for him if the attack falls down. This also applies to Bramall when he goes forward. These two players can be potent forces for us with their pace and ability.

Not sure - Bramall was looking pretty good just before the break and most on here seemed to acknowledge that. We all seem a bit OTT to one defeat, especially as I think it was manager's tactical decisions on the right coupled with illness that denied us covering NC with Harding which I agree with MT above, is the best bet. He needs speed on right centre back to cover

There is a huge problem with this argument, Kioso isn't fit and hasn't been all season, when he gets fit he gets injured again, basically we signed another injury prone player, we took a gamble on him because of our limited budget and it is Xmas and that gamble has failed. NC was the most creative player on the pitch on saturday, he is one of the few players we have that can run at players and dribble (remember that skill!!) Bramall cannot do this, he is a hit and chase the ball player, he hesitates before crossing the ball and therefore loses the opportunity to do that. NC made our goal with an inspired intelligent cross, only Fergie or Barlasar would have the intelligence to make that cross, we all know crossing is not Ogbenes strength. The issue on saturday was MT, he told pelts to play higher up the pitch (we could see that on the TV, his instruction and gesture on the side line was clear), this left a huge gap behind pelts, he has no pace and Wood couldn't get across quicker enough to cover, tactical mistake. NC should play he is too talented not to, however he is young and we have a responsibility to him and to Arsenal to not cause him to play too many games. We need some younger legs to play the right side of a three to help the ones we have.
I also agree with others that at home we have to start with a striker, only Kelly shows any ability in that department so best to go out and recruit one with any Xmas pressie money that TS gives us.
