What does annoy and frustrate me is the amount of energy/effort/time that both the Government and Opposition Parties have put into passing this legislation that will impact on a tiny minority of people. I can't help but feel that if the same time/effort was applied to the issues that affect everybody e.g. NHS, that we would see badly needed improvements in dare I say far important areas than GRA
That's fair comment and indicative of how politics has become about optics and "bell cows" rather than anything more meaningful.
Style over substance, if you will.
