Go on, admit it, you had one or more didn’t you!? 🤣
I had various including an orange one with green and white stripes that I wore with checked, wide flared trousers in 73.....very “Noddy/Slade” type look and I had a fluorescent orange, purple and black hooped monstrosity that I wore with a purple round coloured Brutus shirt and purple flared cords.
The Tank Top is well due another outing in fashion terms, it died after The Bay City Rollers in 76-77.
Cheesecloth was another hideous monstrosity, rubbed your nipples to Hell and stunk like a 1920’s prostitute after an hour out in the sun.

Remember having a tank top as a kid but I didn't really have much say in the matter as I was probably about five or six years old.
Never worn a cheesecloth in my life or stank like a prostitute from any age though.
That said I do wear the occasional linen shirt during the summer and also pay close attention to personal hygiene 😊 .
Never had one. I didn't want to look like Frank Spencer.
Had a tank top just like the one Mick described. Orange and purple hoops which I wore with a purple shirt that had a collar bigger than a tie.
Yes I sure did. Seem to recall a black one with orange, white and blue hoops. Plus remember some white pin striped flares bought out of a catalogue …. The 70s really were the worst decade for fashion
I had a black orange and purple one, I used to don with my purple velvet bell bottoms. Dear Lord!
The 70’s may have been awful for fashion but hey, wasn’t the music great? It was probably the best decade for music.
