... not so elite pie is stuck with his own little agenda so his views hardly construct anything but bile. Both red and blue are responsible for the decades of failure to improve the NHS. None of the current cabale of so-called politicians appear capable of making strategic decisions. If the blues tried there would probably be a general strike, however realistic their solution; such is the state of public opinion. If the reds tried they would have to convince the unions about changes ... wouldn't that be a laugh! Reconstruction needs to start at both ends - fair pay and terms for social services, not least to release bed blocking ( ... and just who was the idiot who closed convalescent homes/their equivalent?). Place a very strong leader at the top who will not put up with middle ranking management unwilling to implement change. No more money; just re-aligning finances.

But not in equal measures. Every set of stats you look at shows the NHS has deteriorated much faster under the Tories than Labour.

That's not something I've made up like Magpies1959, it's there for all to see.

This does ignore the PFI hostpitals that Labour agreed with no upfront costs but we are all now paying for. These are a huge financial burdon now for the NHS.

But that was a Tory initiative that Labour continued.

But Labour expanded it considerably when they had the option to scrap it but didn't because they knew it would line their pockets while in power. Just like HS2 is doing for all MP's from all parties now, that also will never be scrapped!!!

I'm so looking forward to the land of milk and honey when Sir Kier Starmer the free mason knight of the realm and leader of the working class saves us all in 2024 Lets face it Tory, Labour or Lib Dem they're all as sh*te as each other and only care about how much money they can make from us all.

That's true, and it looks a big mistake.

I don't agree with that. None of the options are good, but we've never had a government as incompetent and corrupt as the current one.

They've all been incompetent and corrupt, the last Labour government lied to us and took us into war killing British servicemen!! Then bankrupted the country to name a couple which led to the incompetent and corrupt Conservative government we now have. Chances are the next election will see a hung parliament and who will either of them take into a coalition? The SNP are the only option and neither Conservatives or Labour will do they that will they??

As for the strikes, I'm old enough to have lived through the national strikes of the late 70's under a Labour government under Callaghan and it was far worse than it is now which again led to Thatcher taking control.

Was a Tory concept but it was Labour who made excessive use of it.
