Obviously energy prices have gone up significantly this year so that will be affecting people also. I avoid the news to protect my mental health and haven't consumed any other than football related since the day of the Queen's funeral (19th September) so i'm probably not the best person to comment. There's clearly lots of contributing factors for the proliferation of food banks though and they aren't going away any time soon
